Mumbai: Actor Aamir Khan’s next Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the theatres on Christmas 2021, Viacom18 Studios announced on Monday. The film, produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures.
'Secret Superstar' helmer Advait Chandan is directing the film from a script by actor-writer Atul Kulkarni.The film has music by Pritam with Amitabh Bhattacharya credited for the lyrics. Aamir Khan was recently photographed in Turkey, where he is currently shooting Laal Singh Chaddha. The actor resumed the shoot after the lockdown break. Before the nationwide lockdown was imposed, Aamir was pictured filming Laal Singh Chaddha in Himachal Pradesh and Amritsar.
Aamir, 54, had announced the project on his birthday in March 2019. The actor, whose last film Thugs of Hindostan did not perform well at the box office, said he would be losing around a lot of weight for his role in the film.
