Why did Tejashwi Yadav use the word 'TTM' for the media?
Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, on Saturday used the term TTM while targeting the media. Tejashwi said, stop the 'SATTA KI TABAD TOD TEL MALISH'. There is still time, get out of brokerage, return to journalism. Otherwise, the coming generations will call you 'Jhooth Ka Dalal'.
Tejashwi Yadav has accused some media houses of doing 'TABAD TOD TEL MALISH' of the ruling NDA. Tejashwi Yadav said in a very harsh manner, there is some media, they will not stop doing TTM. People of the media, do a lot of oil massage. They set the agenda, do propaganda. Such people have ruined the people of Bihar and the country.
Tejashwi said, "We want to say openly that there are some newspapers in Bihar that do not print the opposition's views. In Lalu-Rabri rule, the opposition's news used to be printed on the front page. If an ant died somewhere, it would be on the front page. Today, crime is increasing in Bihar and these cowards do not have the courage to print on the front page. They are cowards and I give these newspapers a few days' time. We will tell our supporters that if such newspapers do not improve, then boycott them. No one will go to the village and no one will read the newspaper. Please support us. Media has a role in ruining the country. A particular class has taken over."
Before Tejashwi, the word TTM was used by Lalu Yadav in one of his addresses in Parliament in the 2000s. Lalu Yadav had said in a light-hearted manner, 'There are some people doing TTM around Madam Sonia.' When he told the full form of TTM in Parliament as TABAD TOD TEL MALISH, the entire house echoed with laughter. But now, like Lalu, his son has also targeted some media houses for sycophancy of power.
