Controversial Punjabi Social Media Influencer "Bhabhi" Murdered, Body Found in Parked Car

Punjab: Kamal Kaur Bhabhi alias Kanchan Sahni, 32, who used to upload obscene and controversial videos on Instagram, was murdered in Bathinda. Late Wednesday evening, her body was recovered from a car parked in the parking of Adesh Medical College and Hospital located on Bathinda-Bhucho Road. At present, it is not known who killed Kamal Kaur and why? On June 9, she had left for a promotional event in Bathinda. Police is investigating CCTV footage and call details.


Seven months ago, terrorist Arsh Dalla had threatened to kill Kamal Kaur over obscene content. Nihangs had also warned her. Kamal Kaur has 3 lakh 86 thousand followers on Instagram.


The body was discovered around 8 pm on June 11, when a foul smell started coming from the car. After which the employees working in the parking called the police and the car was opened under their supervision. Kamal Kaur's body was lying on the back seat of the car, which was stinking a lot.


Looking at the condition of the body, it is believed that the murder was committed two days ago. At present, the police have registered a case of murder against unknown people and started investigating the case. The police have formed four teams to trace the case, which are investigating different aspects. A purse and bag have been found near the deceased, but no documents were found in it.


Apart from the CCTV footage of all the toll plazas coming from Ludhiana to Bathinda, the police is also investigating Kamal Kaur's mobile call details, so that it can be ascertained whether she came alone from Ludhiana to Bathinda or someone else also came with her.


The mobile call details will reveal with whom Kamal Kaur talked from June 9 till her last moments. It is not yet known who killed Kamal Kaur and where and why the body was taken to Bathinda hospital. The police is investigating all aspects of the case.


According to the CCTV installed in the hospital parking, an Eon car stopped in the parking at 5:33 am on June 10. A Sikh youth came out of the car while talking on the phone and went inside the parking. About a minute later, the youth came back to the car, walking backwards and talking on the phone.


He opened the window of the car and signaled someone to park the car. After this, he took the car inside the parking. After about two and a half minutes, the youth came out and went out of the parking while talking on the phone.


Kamal Kaur was a resident of Laxman Nagar, Ludhiana. Her father had passed away about one and a half years ago. She lived with her mother in Ludhiana. She did not have good relations with her brother either. Kaur often used to come live on Facebook and Instagram and abuse her family members.


Kamal Kaur posted her last post on Instagram on June 9. Along with one of her photos, she had written, "No love, no emotion... doubt, doubt, doubt. After this, she did not come on the internet media for the last three days. Probably during this time she was murdered.


About 7 months ago, terrorist Arsh Dalla had also threatened to kill Kamal Kaur over obscene content, an audio of which went viral. Nihangs had also warned her.
