Forest police officers released snow leopard back into the wild in north...

Forest police officers released a snow leopard back into the wild last Thursday in northwest China's Qinghai Province.It was captured in a farmer's sheepfold on Wednesday last week after killing a sheep. The sheep's owner was compensated for the loss.The animal is one of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)'s global flagship species and is under China's top-level protection.
