Bookmaker's Donald Trump his Vladimir Putin stunt surprises Londoners

Bookmakers Paddy Power stunned London commuters on March 13 with a promotional stunt which involved actors dressed as U.S. president Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, a shirtless Vladimir Putin, on the streets of the city. Londoners were left stunned as the Putin and Trump characters trotted past surprised commuters on horseback ahead of the biggest week in the British horse racing calendar, the Cheltenham Festival.

The bizarre scene was inspired by the famous photos of Putin taken in 2009, which saw the president riding shirtless in Siberia's Tuva region. Actors Karl Greenwood and Doug Devaney spent more than six hours being made up with prosthetics by a team of Hollywood special effect artists to be transformed into the two presidents.
