Innocent ‘PANKHURI’ Is Now Superhit
New Delhi : In this weekend around Over 2000 “Deliaits” were on a track to theatre at LTG auditorium. It was the occasion of much awaited premier of Act Pankhuri. Show was houseful and there was lot of people standing for the emotional play. It was inaugurated by Dr. Sonal Mansingh (Padma Vibhushan). The house was before the start of the play and audience kept on coming even after the start of the show. It entry was open to all. The show highlighted & created awareness for social cause on Women’s Welfare i.e., “WOMEN EMPOWERMENT”. ‘PANKHURI… story of an innocent Girl’ based on the story by writer Satya Prakash, in Hindi directed by renowned Actor & Director Mr. Chandra Bhushan Singh. t was produced by Black Entertainment & Media (India) Productions.
The Play ‘PANKHURI’ was about a fantastic combination of true love, passion, innocence and hatred. The story was based on how a woman faces tortures. Every woman is getting married to another man of her caste, but not to the one she actually loves. A man, who does not understand love, but always doubts her wife that she is involved in an extra-marital affair. The story tells how he dominates and tries to restrict her in customs and traditions like what is happening in major part of India even today. It is a unique love story depicting a different way of expressing love which defines purity. It relates to common people who actually feel true love but hold back as their society/community does not allow inter-caste marriages or togetherness.
