North Korea's elite soldiers marched on April 15 in a parade to mark the 105th birth anniversary of founding father, Kim Il Sung. The massive military parade, which was broadcast live on the North's state-run television KRT, showed Kim Jong Un in a dark suit, watching military vehicles carrying missiles, what appeared to be new long-range and submarine-based missiles, move forward.

North Korea on April 14, denounced the U.S. for bringing "huge nuclear strategic assets" to the region as the USS Carl Vinson strike group with a flag-ship nuclear-powered aircraft carrier steamed closer.
