snow fall in central Oregon, USA

A winter storm has dumped more than a foot and a half of snow on central Oregon-USA, shutting down schools and icing over roads, NBC reported. As temperatures plummeted the National Weather service kept in place a storm warning until December 14.

Cars struggled to navigate the snow doused roads in the city of Bend. Schools in several districts were shuttered and kids took advantage of the day off to go snowboarding just before the winder holiday. State agencies, including courts, were also closed in several parts of the state, local media reported.
