Save Aleppo: protest in London against Syria's civil war

Hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets in London on Saturday (December 17) protesting Syria's civil war in the wake of the Assad regime's recent major gains against the rebel resistance in the city of Aleppo.

The protesters marched from Trafalgar square chanting "Save Syria" and "Stop the massacre", and are calling for greater action from western leaders to intervene in the five year war. Doctors and nurses also staged their own protest in front of parliament of the United Kingdom, calling on an end to the targeting of medical workers in Syria.
